This is the best way to use up apples from your garden when they’re all ready at the same time and then you go from having none to having enough to feed the country. Make sure you get rid of the insects becasue no one wants a maggot in their pudding : )
4 Apples (ish)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp brown sugar
Handfull of rasins (however much you want)
1 Peel and dice your apples, I made the chunks quite small because thats what I wanted. Make sure to cut out the centres and and dodgy spots.Soak your apples in water whilst you continue to cut them all.
2 Once finished, dry your apples and place in a roasting tray. You need something with sides becasue of the lemon juice.
3 Toss over the lemon, sugar, honey and cinnamon and evenly coat all the apple.
4 Roast in the oven at 150C fan for 30 mins. Add in rasins and serve with custard.
