If you are making a recipe that uses raw garlic like some hummus recipies or my Beetroot Pasta Bake then it can leave some NASTY breath after.
Slice the garlic down the middle and open it out. You can see there is a little stem sort-of-thing in the middle. If you’ve cut the stem in half don’t stress, it still comes out just as easily.
Take it out and throw it far far away. That stem is the main cause of the garlic breath. It probably wont get rid of it completely but it definitely helps.
