Student Satay


Veg of your choice (I used potatoes, courgette and broccoli stems)
Prawns or chicken or something if you want it
3 Spring onions
1 tbsp Lime Juice
1 tbsp Peanut butter
1 tbsp Rice vinegar (optional but I like it)
1 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Garlic powder (as much as you want)
tumeric, if you’re feeling fancy but not an essential 🙂


1 Chop your veg into long pieces and cook it in a frying pan with the garlic
2 Slice the spring onions down the centre then cut them in half to make like strips, add after the veg has cooked through. Then add the prawns
3 Mix together the sauce ingredients and pour over, you can add some water and flour to make it sticky
4 Serve with noodles or rice or something (I also had sauerkraut) and eat it with chopsticks becasue they make everything taste better

If you’re feeling fancy you could sprinkle sesame seed or somthing but even my spice cupboard dosnt stretch that far
