INGREDIENTS
1 tin young jackfruit
1 red onion
Ketchup
Soy Sauce
Smoked Paprika
Regular Paprika
Garlic Powder
Lump of fresh Ginger
Apple Cider Vinegar
Sugar/Sweetner
Black Pepper
Coleslaw
Iceberg Lettuce
Tortilla Wrap
METHOD
1 Boil the jackfruit in water for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile fry the onion in a little oil.
2 Mix together the ketchup, soy, both paprikas, diced/grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, sugar and black pepper
3 When the jackfruit is done, add it to the frying pan with the onion and begin to pull apart whilst it cooks
4 The jackfruit should go a little brown and crispy and once it reaches this stage pour over the sauce mixture and wait for it to reduce.
5 Take a tortilla and butter the inside a little, if you want cheese now would be a good time to add it (so it’s on the outside of the wrap and melts).
6 Layer the wrap with coleslaw lettuce and the BBQ mix. Wrap it up and heat in the griddle pan or a frying pan. Enjoy : )
